Prodir is setting new standards in the use of sustainable materials. The DS8 casing (body, clip and push button) is made from plastic-free, bio-based biopolymers (PHA) that are also biodegradable. Micro-organisms synthesize PHA through fermentation and break it down again in the sea, fresh water or the soil something they have been doing in all natural environments for millions of years.
A fascinating triangular structure characterises the casing surface of the QS01. The pattern is introduced in the injection moulding into the surface of the casing and is an authentic part of the writing instrument.
