After being in the Fashion retail business for more than 20 years, I finally left my job as a Visual Merchandising manager for a well known high street brand to start a new challenge and to join a company that really valued a work / life balance.
The stars aligned and I was made aware that a company called ‘Manic Merchandise’ was hiring for a sales coordinator role at their office. At an interview with the very charismatic and friendly Ben , I was given a small insight into the world of Promotional Merchandise and all the weird and wonderful things he had been involved in over the years. By the end of the interview I was intrigued and really excited to be part of this fast paced industry and had my fingers crossed for a call back. After (a lot) of checks of e mails, Ben finally got in touch and offered me the job!
After meeting the lovely Amy and Lorna in the office , I was given a overview of what Manic Merchandise can deliver and my mind was blown. Everything from Pens that can become phone stands, to Logos on biscuits and even lasered Apples! This was a whole new world! I’ve made sure I’ve spent time going on suppliers websites and going through catalogues to familiarise myself with what is out there and what is possible to be able to deliver the best service possible to our clients and to educate myself on all the possibilities within promotional merchandise. After Ben presented me with my e mail beginning with ‘ManicIpek’ I knew I’d been officially welcomed into the Manic family
