Senator [Pen] Factory Visit

I had a really interesting visit to the Senator Pen factory, in Harlow, earlier in the week, but it wasn't the pens that were the most exciting thing I took away with me - although the Liberty, that can be personalised to your own, unique, spec., was pretty awesome! - it was how eco-friendly Senator are themselves and how they take great pride in this. From the fact that their main production factory in Germany runs entirely on hydro-electricity, to the recycling of waste, the re-using of materials - cleaned without the use of harmful chemicals and donating 'scrapped' pens to children overseas who, without their own pen, cannot go to school.
They are producing a growing range of eco-friendly products too, that are rapidly becoming best sellers:
The barrel of the 'Super Hit Bio' is manufactured from renewable raw materials (PLA, based on Sugar Cane).
